Hi, I’m Jenna Nevins.

I was born and raised in the mid-west and live here with my beautiful family. I was intensely into music through out high school and attended Berklee where I studied Music Therapy.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from UNO. After that, I worked at the State Psychiatric Facility in Nebraska, with behavioral children and on a Pulmonary Unit in a long-term care facility. It is there where my passion for mental health grew. I have always been interested in personal growth and self healing and felt I could be doing more; more for my patients, more for the staff, more for their families, and this drove me to earn my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Bellevue University. While there, I was in the Honor’s Society and graduated with Sigma Chi Iota cords.

Since then I have trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Training), Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness Coaching and Sound Therapy.

In my spare time, I play with my kids, write and play music, write poetry, create art, read, work with animals and enjoy time with my husband.
